#riffraffselfparaRulesDrama I do not deal well with unplanned drama, as it tends to bleed ooc with those carrying it out, and has led to a variety of negative interactions and outcomes. I will say, as it leads to IC vs. OOC, my muses can be very opinionated and they will speak their minds on the experiences they are having, even if the feedback upsets someone else. Please understand that this does not necessarily correlate OOC and if you have an issue please come talk to me.
Rules (Continued)Ic vs Ooc I do try to imbue myself into my characters to an extent. Should anything occur that you are not comfortable with or are confused by, please let me know and I will correct myself and my muse or at the very least explain better.Writing|Replies I am often not able to write Monday - Friday unless I have larger gaps of time.I do better replies on the weekends. If you have questions about this, I'm open to discuss. I tend to write lit para style in third person. I can try to match depending on the reply, but this is highly variable. I will NOT deliver you anything less than one multi sentence paragraph.Slave Interactions Hanbyul has been through hell and back as far as the slave system, and he's not super fond of being owned. Whoever buys him needs to be prepared for some conflict and flexibility. He is strong enough to fight back if he needs to now, so beware.

His Father
Danger to loved ones
Some families are not good.Unfortunately, Hanbyul found that out when he was very little. His parents were not happy together. His father was a wealthy man, a top notch attorney, and his mother was a dedicated wife. When she fell pregnant, his father was pleased, and everything was fine... until he was born. Once the result of their union was safe outside of the womb, his father began belittling his mother, tearing her apart piece by piece, from appearance to any task she completed or did not complete. Then came the physical violence. As a toddler, Hanbyul only knew violence. In fact, he was always surpised when he heard from his school mates that their father didn't beat their mother into the floor every day. When he turned six, the violence turned to him.He could do no right. And when punishment came for his mistakes, his mother took the brunt to defend him. He began blaming himself for her suffering. At the age of eight, he had his first sucidal thoughts. It was the night his mother caught him self harming that everything fell apart. His father went too far, too hard on his mother, and suddenly she wasn't getting back up.It was hours that she lay still in the floor.Hanbyul cried over her, the silence overwhelming. He hates being alone. She knows this. Why would she leave him? His father locked him in a room, beating him into submission so he could take her body away. He never did find out where his father hid her corpse. But he never saw her again. He became her replacement. He was beaten for almost anything, from looking at something wrong, to breathing incorrectly. He continued self harm, secretly, and wished that he would just die like her. That way he didn't have to suffer without her anymore. Death never came.Instead, one day, when he was ten, his father woke him up in the middle of the night, urging him up and out of bed and to pack a bag. He was only given five minutes, just enough time to take some things and a prized possession; his mother's necklace. He clutched it tight as he was led to an unmarked black car, the door closed on him, and he was sent into the night. His father had sold him into the slave system. He didn't even know there was a slave system, but his new task was to serve the rich. He was often commented on for his looks. Some men requested time with him, but thankfully (ironically), those requests were always denied. He spent the next ten years working there. They gave him some sort of an education, though he lacked most of what regular children got. They did allow him to hang with the other servants, which is where he learned dance. It turned out he was a very good dancer, able to add this skill to his abilities as a servant and score more money for his boss. This got him some additional benefits too, more security, but it also had more people wanting to take him behind closed doors and do as they pleased. He thankfully avoided it at every turn. But he began to understand. People with money, the filthy rich, they felt as though they could bend the world to their whim with a stack of bills. He began to loathe them. And the government that allowed them to exist. He wanted to destroy everything. When he finally escaped, he found himself on the streets, cold and hungry and lost, away from the warmth of his room. The slavery system was always a shadow he tried to dodge, trying to keep himself out of it again. He became friends with others like him, and they found various ways to make money, from busking to stealing. Anything to score some money. It kept them alive. He was a modern day Aladdin. His mother would be so ashamed. He'd fallen so far. This guilt drove him to become more sophisticated. He became good at grifting, able to trick people out of their money and riches, to disguise himself, become a master at various roles. He was a conman, quick witted and slick, slippery and hard to catch. It became a way to make sure he was secure. At 30 years old, he's now secure enough to have a hide out, friends, a motorcycle, and a decent system to milk the very system that once abused him and made him feel worthless. Now, the only way to go is up.Right?April 2025 to PresentHanbyul has ghosts from his past haunting him, and after a blackmail moment went awry, he was hunted down by someone he thought was dead and shot. Thankfully he was close to Taeseuk, and the master turned him to a nulhound to save him. Since then, Hanbyul has been trying his hardest to get himself together and enjoy this new life he’s been given, no matter how much of a struggle it brings him.
